Marin Shakespeare Company

We are grateful to Marin Shakespeare Company and director Lesley Currier for the work they did with men of VHV-FTIO to bring "Pariotism Politics" to life.  The play below is based on original work by veterans of the US Military serving time in San Quentin Prison.

Below is a Question and Answer Session between the audience and actors after the performance of "Patriotism Politics", a play written and performed by the Veterans Healing Veterans group at San Quentin.

Theatre of War (below) was based on writings by these men about their military experience, and explores the issue of military suicide. Lesley worked with them for eight months to turn those writings and experiences into a powerful performance piece, performed inside the prison on May 21, 2015.
